Clarification on the Remuneration Management System of Xiamen University for Staff Members in the Annual Salary System

1. The remuneration rates will not be reduced. In an effort to further enhance our internal governance system, Xiamen University has recently strengthened the remuneration management for staff members in the annual salary system and has established clearer annual remuneration components and payment procedures. This will ensure that remunerations are paid in a more efficient and standardized manner. Xiamen University will not reduce the remuneration rates for staff members in the annual salary system, nor will it change benefits such as the housing provident fund and social security. The staff's actual incomes will not be affected.

2. Performance evaluation will be standardized. An appropriate percentage of the annual remuneration will be linked to performance according to the performance management guidelines. Each school at the University can introduce greater performance incentives and evaluate the performance of staff members in the annual salary system with considerations for the patterns of talent development and research cycles. The schools will determine the performance-based portion of the annual remuneration to motivate greater performance.

1.薪酬标准不降低。近期,为进一步完善内部治理体系,厦门大学加强年薪制人员薪酬管理,明确年薪构成和发放办法,保证薪酬发放更加合理规范。学校不会降低年薪制人员薪酬标准,也不会改变住房公积金和社会保险等福利待遇,合法的实际收入不受影响。
